It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to CJ on Saturday. CJ is a pitt/boxer mix with such a sweet personality. He was a walker favorite and will be missed dearly by our staff and especially his awesome parents Jen and Brett.

Otis is a very sweet bulldog we have the pleasure of walking! His owner Aimee wrote a bio for him, see below. He is big brother to baby Clara, and such a good boy.

About Otis
Otis came to Chicago, by way of Bolingbrook, at a mere five months old - and lives in Roscoe Village. He's a 4.5 year old English Bulldog, but still has the energy of a young puppy.

He loves to play with other dogs, chase/bark at inanimate objects and is a big fan of riding in the car. Otis is in touch with his Mom's Wisconsin roots because he loves to eat cheese. He will actually eat anything in sight (edible or not). Lucky for him, his baby sister, Clara, helps makes sure he's well-fed.

Otis is a lover, not a fighter...although he's nearly 60 pounds, he thinks he's a lapdog and cuddles with anyone, anytime he gets the chance.

He loves attention, so if you see him out on a walk, don't be surprised if he shakes his behind and cuddles up to you for some affection.

Meet Marley! Marley is a 1 year old retriever mix who was given up as a result of landlord issues. He has a very calm and sweet personality, and is one of the most interesting looking dogs I’ve met! He is very eager to train, and will sit, down, focus, and walk great on the leash! Help me find him a home!!

Meet Stella! Stella is such a good girl. She’s a five year old Beagle mix that knows a lot of behaviors. She does not pull on the leash, does a great sit/stay, and down/stay, and is very food motivated (needs to lose a few)!

Meet Lupe! She is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix that needs a forever home. She is very smart and is learning to walk loosely on a leash, sit, down, and focus. She is very eager to train and listen to instructions (maybe it’s because of those ears)!

We adopted Mackenzie Belle - Mack / Mackie / Mackers - from the Anti-Cruelty Society in October 2010.  They guessed that her age was around 1, so she's now 2 1/2.  She's a terrier mix - we think she's mixed with a Wheaten Terrier.  Mack has a healthy appetite for the finer things in life - including plain donuts!
 
Although she's hit & miss with other dogs when on leash, Mack loves to play at the dog park and Roscoe Recess parties.  One of Mack's favorite activities is looking out the front window of our condo.  We're on the 3rd floor with a tree outside the window - she can spend hours watching the squirrels running around the branches.  She also loves patrolling the neighborhood for squirrels with Eleanor, Davis, or us - she'll check every tree to see if anyone is home and give a few barks or cries to warn them that she's watching.  Mack is also obsessed with her nylabones - she's a crazy strong chewer that goes through them super fast.  She loves to run up and down the hallway, occasionally dropping them along the way (sorry neighbors!).  Since Mack is such a strong chewer, stuffed toys don't last long around her - 5 minutes or less.  
 
Mack can be very stubborn about where she walks - just ask Davis.  She loves all her friends from Roscoe Recess - esp. Eleanor who took such great care of her when she was sick last summer.  She is such a sweet pup - we're so lucky that we found her!

Meet Lana B! She needs a forever home. I have been training her at Anti-Cruelty and she is so smart! She is approximately 6 months old, and is very eager to please. Will sit, lay down, focus, and is learning to walk loosely on a leash. She will make someone a very happy puppy owner.

Meet Ralphie! This dog is so sweet, and smart too! He learns very quickly and can do most basic obedience behaviors (sit, down, focus, stay). I am working with him at Anti-Cruelty to walk on a loose leash, and sit quiet when other dogs and people pass him. He is a big goofball, and will make an excellent pet.
